The Association has a varied housing stock containing a mixture of flats, cottage flats, terraced housing, town houses, single storey bungalows, semi detached and detached housing. Cernach also has two purpose built houses in multiple occupation accommodating six residents with severe learning and physical disabilities and their support staff. A further 6 units of supported accommodation came off site in August 2006. This project was part of the development where our new office premises were built.
The Association sets its own rents and aim to set an affordable rent within the means of the local community. By undertaking regular income surveys we are able to identify the profile of our client group, establish the income levels of tenants in work and test those against recognised measures of affordability. Average monthly rents range from £189.84 for a 2 apartment flat to £284.62 for a 5 apartment house. |
