Cernach Housing Association is committed to Tenant Participation to involve tenants in policy development during reviews of service policies and have set aside a budget to support Registered Tenant Organisations.
A group of local tenants have established a tenant group and are working on their constitution to become a Registered Tenant Organisation. The Group is called CHANGE, Cernach Housing Association Neighbourhood Group Executive. The Group have been working with the Association for the past four years and were given delegated responsibility for overseeing the Artists Appointment and the Community consultation for Cernach Community Playground.
The group established and are involved with Young CHANGE, the Associations, young membership aged 8-15 and with Young CHANGE have organised anti vandalism, anti graffiti and clean up campaigns.
