From lessons spanning every area of the curriculum to ideas for whole-school events, projects and challenges, the free resources have been designed to bring Glasgow 2026 to every child and young person across Scotland, inspiring them to participate, learn and lead. These are an opportunity to spark curiosity, build confidence, encourage physical activity, and drive our young people to think and dream big. Whether you're exploring global cultures, promoting health and wellbeing, or building excitement across your school community, there’s something for every age and setting.

 What’s available?

  • Learning resource packs: lesson and activity ideas across every curriculum area from early years to upper secondary, ready to use today
  • Young Ambassador pack: a toolkit for young people to run their own events/activities and assemblies in school
  • Opportunities to connect with athletes who can inspire your pupils first-hand
  • Whole-school participation ideas, including our Schools’ Baton Relay resource
  • A variety of other resources for lessons, short activities and challenges created by a wide range of collaborators, including Scottish Governing Bodies of Sport
  • Fun, active games, activities and movement breaks for younger learners, inspired by our brilliant mascot, Finnie

Together, we can help young people feel part of something extraordinary, celebrating Scotland, sport and the power of ambition. Let’s seize the opportunity to bring Glasgow 2026 to all of Scotland’s children and young people.
