Right to Repair

All Registered Social Landlords have a statutory 'Right to Repair' duty as set out in the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001.

When you advise us of a repair problem, we will tell you whether the repair falls under this scheme.

This means that if qualifying repairs are not attended to within the agreed timescale (1-7days) you have the right to appoint another contractor from the Association's approved list to carry out the work.

You are also eligible for compensation for the inconvenience if the repair is not carried out within the set timescale. For more information, please see the Right to Repair Leaflet.
